Multicultural Education a construct that addresses cultural diversity, equity in schools, justice, and democracy
justice in the context of education means broadening students perspectives by exposing them to different opinions with respect to real world issues.
subculture a cultural group within a larger culture, often having beliefs or interests at variance with those of the larger culture:
exceptionality group a group sharing a set of specific abilities that are especially valued or that require special accommodation within a given subculture
class-wide peer tutoring (CWPT) an evidence-based, reciprocal instructional strategy where all students in a classroom are paired to actively practice academic skills, providing immediate, corrective feedback to one another
sheltered-English approach a teaching method for English Language Learners (ELLs) that provides access to grade-level content
