Ways to read a textbook

With the lectures and textbooks, that's if the teacher lectures about the chapter from the day you went (based on what you see on your syllabus), what should you do with the lecture notes and chapter? Compare them and mark the main point for each of them; we know that will be on the test (and put in the flashcards to help review later
For the flashcards you made from the lecture and textbook chapter that you got the main idea, what should you do? review them daily, so it will help retain the information to help get ready for the test.
While reading in your mind, what else helps while doing it? Visualize them in your mind
You don't have to remember everything what you read, but what should you get at least? The Main idea
While reading the passage, and instead of not rushing it, how should it be? Reading it slow, take your time, and break it down
The day before the lectures (that's what the teacher lecture on based on your syllabus), when should you read the chapters and take notes? The day before the lectures, so you'll have background information from the lectures that the teacher will lecture on
