QuestionAnswer
Define validity. Accuracy of measuring what the instrument intends to measure.
Define reliability. Consistency of results when measurements are repeated.
What is face validity? Surface-level judgment of appropriateness.
What is content validity? Match between instrument items and study objectives.
What is construct validity? How well a test measures the intended concept.
What is test–retest reliability? Consistency across repeated administrations.
What is inter-rater reliability? Agreement between different evaluators.
What is internal consistency? Uniformity of responses across all items.
Define data analysis. Breaking data into parts based on research questions.
Define data interpretation. Drawing conclusions from analyzed data.
What must researchers avoid in interpretation? Confusing correlation with causation.
What is confirmation bias? Favoring data that supports a hypothesis.
What is irrelevant data? Information unrelated to the research question.
What is misleading visualization? Graphs that distort or misrepresent data.
Why is sample size important? Larger samples increase accuracy and reliability.
