| Democracy | a type of government in which the people rule themselves |
| Cultural Borrowing | the process where one culture adopts practices, ideas, or elements from another culture, enriching both through exchange |
| Cultural Identity | your sense of belonging to a group, shaped by shared beliefs, values, traditions, language, ethnicity, and history, |
| Aristocracy | he highest class in certain societies, especially those holding hereditary titles or offices. |
| Comedies | professional entertainment consisting of jokes and satirical sketches in a play. |
| Majority Rule | the most votes wins. |
| Agora | a public open space used for assemblies and markets. |
| Multicultural | relating to or constituting several cultural or ethnic groups within a society. |
| Isthmus | a narrow strip of land with sea on either side, forming a link between two larger areas of land. |

| Polis | he Greek word for city states. |
| Tyrant | an ancient Greek leader who held power through the use of force |
| Tragedies | :an event causing great suffering, destruction, and distress, such as a serious accident, crime, or natural catastrophe. |
| Myth | a traditional story, especially one concerning the early history of a people or explaining some natural or social phenomenon, usually about gods or heros |
