Chador A chador is a traditional full-body-length garment worn by Muslim women, primarily in Iran and parts of South Asia.
Forbade Forbade is the simple past tense of the verb forbid. It describes the act of having ordered someone not to do something or having prohibited an action in the past.
Decreed Decreed is the past tense and past participle of decree.
Burqas A burqa (also spelled burka) is a full-body-length outer garment that covers the wearer's entire body and face, leaving only a mesh or grille panel for the eyes to see through.
Intricate Intricate describes something that is highly detailed, complex, or consisting of many interconnected parts that are difficult to follow or disentangle.
Taliban The Taliban (Pashto for "students") is an ultraconservative Sunni Islamist political and militant organization that currently governs Afghanistan as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Looter A looter is a person who steals goods or property from stores, houses, or other places
Decree A decree is an official and authoritative order or decision, typically issued by a head of state, government, or court, that carries the force of law.
Hospitable Hospitable describes a person, environment, or mindset that is welcoming, generous, and friendly.
Turban A turban is a type of headwear made of a long piece of cloth wrapped around a cap or directly around the head.
Exhaustion Exhaustion is a state of extreme physical or mental fatigue, often resulting from prolonged stress, overwork, or lack of sleep.
Collapse Collapse means to fall down, cave in, or suddenly fail, whether physically, structurally, or systematically.
Basin A basin is a term with multiple meanings, but it primarily refers to a bowl-shaped container for holding liquid or a natural depression in the Earth's surface.
Sensible Sensible describes something that is practical, reasonable, or shows good judgment. It can also refer to something that is physically perceivable.
Eternity Eternity refers to infinite or unending time.
Preoccupied Preoccupied means being so engrossed or lost in thought about one particular thing that you ignore or lose track of everything else.
Routine A routine is a sequence of actions or a regular course of procedure that is followed consistently.
Dawdling Dawdling is the act of wasting time or moving slowly and aimlessly, especially when you should be focused or in a hurry.
Latrine A latrine is a communal toilet facility.
Escort An escort is a person, vehicle, or group that accompanies another for protection, guidance, or courtesy
Gesturing Gesturing is the act of using physical movements—especially of the hands, arms, or head—to express an idea, emotion, or instruction
Objections An objection is an expression or feeling of disapproval, opposition, or disagreement. It is a formal way of saying "I disagree" or "That is not allowed."
Intact Intricate things have many parts; something intricate that survives a collapse is intact.
Unhearth Unearth means to dig something up from the ground or to reveal something that was hidden, lost, or forgotten.
Uttering Uttering primarily refers to the act of making a sound or speaking, but it also has a specific and serious legal meaning related to fraud.
Severed Severed means to have been cut off, separated, or broken suddenly and completely.
Heroine A heroine is a woman admired for her courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.
