Argument

Argument When the author wants to convince you of their position.
Claim The author's main point.
Rebuttal When the author responds directly to the counterclaim.
Counterclaim The opposite viewpoint of the author's claim.
Relevant Evidence What the author uses to support their claim.
Credible The author is able to be believed and trusted.
Ethos Emphasizes the speakers credibility and authority. Ex: Celebrity Endorsements, Titles, Professions, etc.
Pathos Appeals to the audience's emotions. Ex: Personal Stories/Experiences, Images, etc.
Logos Appeals to the audience's logic or reason. Ex: Data, Historical Events, Facts, Test Results, Personal Experience as a proof.
