Six climates. WIND 3 area of symptoms Skin, Channel Joint
Wind- skin symptoms Aversion to cold, fever. sore throat, sneezing, runny nose, occipital stiffness, floating pulse.
Wind- Channel symptoms Stiffness, rigity, sudden muscle contraction
Wind-joint symptoms Joint pain that moves from place to place exp in the upper part of the body ( Wind Bi )
Fire symptoms. General: Aversion to heat, high fever, sweating mental confulsion, thirst, over flowing rapid pulse red tongue with yellow coating.
Fire characteristics (4) Burning and upwards Consumes yin fluid Stirs up wind and disturbance of blood
Summer heat symptoms General: Aversion to cold. fever, sweating, headache, dark urine thirst floating rapid pulse
Summer heat characters(4) Extreme heat Upward direction, dispersion and consumes body fluids Frequently combined with damp
Dampness 3 symptoms locations Skin joint Other
Dampness- sinew symptoms Heavy limbs dull ache of muscles
Dampness - joint symptoms Pain, heaviness and swelling of the joints, esp of the lower part of the body ( Damp - Bi)
Dampness- other symptoms Acute urinary disconfort, acute vaginal discharge, acute skin disease with vesicles or papules, acute digestive upsets.
Dryness characters (2) Consume body fluid impairs the function of the lung the delicate zang.
Dryness general symptoms Acute dry cough, aversion to cold, fever, dry mouth and nose.
Cold 2 characteristics Consumes yang qi Contraction and stagnation
Cold 5 symptoms location. Sinew, Joint St, LI uterus.
Cold- sinew symptoms stiffness, contraction of muscles, pain and chillness
Cold joint symptoms severe joint pain ( Cold bi)
Cold - ST symptoms Sudden epigastric pain with vomiting.
Cold- LI symptoms Sudden abdominal pain with diarrhea
Cold-Uterus symptoms Acute dysmenorrhea.
