| weathering | the breaking down of larger rocks into sediment |
| delta | a triangular shaped landform at the mouth of a river; agent of change: water |
| sand dune | a mountain of sand formed by deposition; agent of change: wind |
| canyon | a landform carved out by wind and water, V-shaped; agent of change: water, sometimes wind |
| glacier | a landform of ice moving slowly down a slope or valley, U-shaped; agent of change: ice |
| mesa | a flat topped mountain or hill formed by wind and water; agent of change: wind and water |
| U-shaped valley | valley with steep sides formed by glacial erosion; agent of change: ice |
| frost wedging | weathering process where water repeatedly freezes and thaws in a rock eventually breaking it; agent of change: water and ice |
| agent of change | a natural force like wind, water or ice that slowly changes Earth's surface and creates new landforms |
