TermDefinition
Line a mark that spans the distance between 2 points- the path of a moving dot- can be vertical, horizontal, diagonal, straight or curved
Color made up of hue, value and intensity
Hue name of the color
value lightness/darkness
intensity brightness/ saturation
primary colors red, yellow, blue
shape 2 dimensional- area enclosed by a line can be geometric(triangle) organic(leaf)
form 3 dimensional enclosed by a line and encloses volume-geometric(cube) or organic
Texture how an object feels or looks like it will feel
Space the area around, between or within things
positive space the area that makes up the object
negative space the area around an object
