Water Cycle
| Term | Definition |

| Evaporation | A process through which a liquid changes into a gas |
| Condensation | A process through which a gas cools down and changes into a liquid |
| Precipitation | Water that falls from clouds to the ground in the form of rain, sleet, snow, or hail |
| Runoff | When water flows across the ground and over the surface of the earth |
| Accummulation | The process during which precipitation collects into a larger body |
| Water Vapor | Water in the form of a gas |
| Water Cycle | The continous movement of water between Earth's surface and the atmosphere, changing from liquid to gas and back into a liquid. |
| The sun | The main source of energy in the water cycle |
| Dew, fog, clouds | Types of condensation: when gas cools down into a liquid |
