| Response to Intervention (RTI) | Refers to a students change (or lack of) in academic performance or behavior result of instruction. |
| Curriculum-Based Measurement | Involves students response to usual instruction materials. Details frequent samples of a students performance from the curriculum. |
| Early Intervening Services | Support for babies and toddlers with developmental disabilities. |
| Individualized-education program | A legally blinding plan with goals and objectives for kids with disabilities. |
| Individualized family service plan (IFSP) | A written, family specific plan for infants and toddlers with disabilities focusing on meeting their unique needs. |
| Transition Plans | A strategic plan with goals and timelines, focusing on moving from one state to another. |
| Supported employment | Helps individuals with severe long term disabilities find and keep a job. |
| Least Restricted Environment (LRE) | States that children with disabilities receive education with non-disabled peers to the maximum extent appropriate for their needs. |
