Pierwszą pracę dostałem w 2015 roku. I got my first job in 2015.
Pracowałem tam między 2018 a 2020 rokiem. I worked there between 2018 and 2020.
Miałem pracę sezonową. I had a seasonal job.
Aplikowałem na nauczyciela, ale nie dostałem tej pracy. I applied to be a teacher but I didn’t get the job.
Złożyłem wypowiedzenie. I resigned.
Wczoraj złożyłem wypowiedzenie. I gave my notice in yesterday.
Zostałem zwolniony z powodu redukcji etatów. I was made redundant.
Straciłem pracę. I lost my job.
Zostałem zwolniony. I was sacked / fired.
Dostałem wilczy bilet. I got the sack.
Moja rozmowa kwalifikacyjna była łatwa, poszło mi świetnie. My job interview was easy, I smashed it!
Ktoś załatwił mi pracę w firmie. Somebody got me a job at a company.
Pracuję w firmie rodzinnej. I work in the family business.
Jestem samozatrudniony. I am self-employed.

Mam jedną 30-minutową przerwę dziennie. I’ve got one 30-minute break a day.
Dobrze pamiętam swoją pierwszą pracę. I remember my first job very well.
To było dawno temu. It was ages ago.
Kiedyś pracowałem jako kelner. I used to work as a waiter.
Obecnie pracuję w firmie IT. I currently work at an IT company.
Pracuję 5 dni w tygodniu po 8 godzin dziennie. I work 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.
Mam jedną 30-minutową niepłatną przerwę między 12:00 a 12:30. I have one 30-minute unpaid break between 12:00 and 12:30.
Obecnie jestem bezrobotny. I’m currently unemployed.
Zostaję w domu i opiekuję się dziećmi. I stay at home and look after my children.
To zależy, czasem pracuję bardzo dużo. It depends! Some days I work a lot.
Czasem pomijam przerwy, bo jestem zbyt zajęty. I skip my breaks sometimes – I’m too busy!
