¿Cómo se define la Homeostasis? Mantenimiento de condiciones casi constantes en el medio interno mediante un equilibrio dinámico.
¿Qué es la Homeostasis Reactiva? Respuesta que ocurre después de que el sensor detecta una perturbación ya presente.
¿Qué es la Homeostasis Predictiva? Mecanismos que se anticipan a un cambio antes de que ocurra (ej. ritmos circadianos).
Concepto de Homeocinesis Término que resalta que el equilibrio es un flujo constante de energía y materia, no un estado estático.
¿Qué es la Alostasis? Lograr la estabilidad a través del cambio fisiológico para adaptarse a demandas de estrés o del entorno.
Función del Sensor Monitorea la variable regulada y envía la información al centro integrador.
Función del Centro Integrador Compara la señal con el punto de ajuste (set-point) y determina la respuesta necesaria.
Función del Efector Órgano o tejido que ejecuta la acción para corregir la variable.
Vía Aferente Canal que lleva la información desde el sensor hacia el centro integrador.
Vía Eferente Canal que lleva la instrucción desde el centro integrador hacia el efector.
