tounaquet Noun A device tied tightly around a limb to stop severe bleeding compression bandage, hemostatic device When Mrs. Gitsis fell out the window, Samantha created a tourniquet to stop the bleeding.
Garish Adjective Crudely or tastelessly colorful, showy, or elaborate gaudy, flashy, loud, vulgar The colors were so garish they hurt my eyes.
instigator Noun A person who causes trouble or starts something bad inciter, agitator, troublemaker, ringleader “Stop being an instigator!” the teacher yelled.
rapport Noun A close and harmonious relationship with mutual understanding bond, understanding, affinity, harmony The team built a strong rapport and respected one another.
