| Associative Property of Addition | When you add three or more numbers, it doesn't matter how you group them. You'll always get the same answer. |
| Associative Property of Multiplication | When you multiply three or more numbers, it doesn't matter how you group them. You'll always get the same answer. |
| Commutative Property of Addition | When you add two numbers, the order doesn't matter. You'll always get the same answer. |
| Commutative Property of Multiplication | When you multiply two numbers, the order doesn't matter. You'll always get the same answer. |
| Distributive Property | Multiplying a number by a group of numbers being added is the same as multiplying each number separately and then adding the results |
| Identity Property of Addition | When you add zero to any number, you get that same number. Zero is called the additive identity. |
| Identity Property of Multiplication | When you multiply any number by 1, you get that same number. One is called the multiplicative identity. |
| Zero Property of Multiplication | When you multiply any number by zero, you always get zero. |
