-opathy common term used to describe any type of blood
-pnea breathing or breath
-centesis refers to puncturing a caving in order to remove fluid
-ectomy surgical removal of something
-ostomy to make permanent opening into a body space
-otomy cutting into or insisting something
-orrhapy to suture or surgically repair something
-opexy- uncommon suffix meant to surgically repair something into place
-plasty or -oplasty both mean to surgically repair something
-otrispy suffix used for crushing or destroying something
-ology the study of (ex-biology- the study of living organisms
