surmise To voice an opinion w/ little evidence; imagine.
presume To assume as truth w/out evidence or question.
speculate To hypothesize; to make a guess when curious or doubtful
doldrums A boring, gloomy place, or state of mind, where nothing happens
lethargy A state of having very low energy w/ drowsiness and lack of interest/feeling
ignorance A state of not knowing; lack of awareness or education.
peculiar Abnormal or different from the usual expectation
adapt To change; to alter as a result of changes to the environment
