RNA Stands for ribonucleic acid, single stranded molecule that helps deliver the code to build proteins
Transcription Occurs in the nucleus; DNA is rewritten into mRNA
Translation Occurs in the ribosome; amino acids are connected to make a protein
Ribosome Site where translation occurs; makes proteins
Amino Acids The building block of a protein
Ribsose Sugar found in RNA
Deoxyribose Sugar found in DNA
mRNA A strand of RNA that holds a copy of the code on the DNA. M=Messenger
