TermDefinition
Matter Anything that has mass and takes up space.
Sample A small part that is meant too show what the whole is about.
Rock formation A region of rock that formed together as a single rock type.
magma hot liquid rock below the surface of earth.
Sediment small pieces of rock
semintary rock the rock type formed when sediment is pressed and giant together.
compaction the process of sediment being buried and passed together.
cementation the process of sediment being glued together.
igneous rock the rock type formed when magma cools and becomes solid.
