These are the first half of the words we have been studying reviewing.

| Geometry | A type of math that studies the size and shape of objects. |
| Classify | Arranging objects into groups based on some property |
| Justify | To provide an explanation for your thinking. |
| Point | An exact location |
| Vertex | Where two lines or sides meet to form a corner |
| Line | A straight path that goes on forever in both directions. |
| Line Segment | Part of a line that has a beginning and end point. |
| Intersecting Lines | Crosses at one point |
| Parallel Lines | Lines the same distance apart that will never cross (intersect) |
| Perpendicular Lines | Lines that intersect for form 4 right angles. |
| Congruent | Objects that have the same size and shape |
| Symmerty | Exactly the same on both sides when folded in half. |
| Acute Angle | An angle that measures less than 90 degrees |
| Obtuse Angle | An angle that measures greater than 90 but less than 180 degrees. |
| Right Angle | An angle that measures exactly 90 degrees. |
| Triangle | Has 3 sides and 3 angles. |
| Acute Triangle | A polygon that has 3angles measuring less than 90 degrees. |
| Obtuse Triangle | A polygon that has 3 angles but one is greater than 90 degrees. |
| Right Triangle | A polygon that has 3 angles but one is 90 degrees. |
| Polygon | Flat shape made up of line segments called sides. All sides are straight and must be a closed shape. |
