| chloropgyll | a green photosynthetic pigment found in the chloroplasts of plants algae and some bacteria. |
| cellur respiration | the process I which oxygen and glucose undergo a complex sries of chemical reactions inside cells releasing. |

| cell cycle | the series of events in which a cell grows prepares for division and dicides to form two daughter cells. |

| mitosis | the second stage of the cell cycle during which the cells nuclecus divides into two new nuclei and one set of DNA. |
| cytplinesis | the final stage of the cell cycle in which the cells cytoplasm divides disturbing the organelles into each of two new daughter cells |
| chromossome | a threadlike structer within the cells nucleus that contains DNA. |
