Disability A disability is an inability to do something, a diminished capacity to perform in a specific way (an impairment)
Handicap A handicap is a disadvantage imposed on an individual .
Special education Special education means specifically designed instruction that meets the unusual needs of an exceptional student and that requires special materials, teaching techniques, equipment, and / or facilities.
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) This act gives civil rights protections to individuals with disabilities that are like those provided to individuals on the basis of race, sex, national origin, and religion.
