TermDefinition
Disability Inability to do something, a diminished capacity to perform in a specific way.
Handicap Any disability could be considered as handicap like difficulty to maintain any progress or success.
Traumatic brain injury It is a brain injury that happens with an outside force.
Special Education Instruction that helps students with different kinds of accommodations that best helps their needs as an individual.

Intellectual Disabilities Affects a person's ability to learn, think, and perform tasks everyday

The Education for all Handicapped children Act A landmark federal law was passed in 1975
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act A law that ensures students with disabilities receive a free appropriate public education
Americans with Disabilities Act Law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities
Litigation Little or no effect on lives of individuals with disabilities
