Career Maturity Using one’s career path to make an informed career decision.
Career Satisfaction The pleasure that comes from working in a career that allows one to use his or her passions.
Decision-making Process Offers a way to plan carefully, based on the steps for problem solving.
Monitor To keep track of the success of the career decision.
Self-understanding The true knowledge about oneself.
Action Plan A list of steps to a goal.
Backup Plan An alternative plan.
Long-term Goals Goals a person could expect to achieve in five or more years.
Medium-term Goals Goals a person could expect to achieve in one or two years.
Priorities The items of greatest importance on one’s schedule.
Procrastination Delaying planning.
Roadblocks Barriers that may slow or stop the progress of planning and time management.
Self-Motivation The determination to stay on track and avoid distractions.
Short-term Goals Goals a person could expect to achieve in less than one year.
Time Wasters The distractions that cause a person to lose track of time.
