TermDefinition
Photoshop - image and photo editing program that is used by photographers, graphic designers, video game artists, advertising and meme designers
Filter - tool that cleans up or retouches images, applies art effects, and transforms or distorts lighting effects
Toolbar - a set of icons or buttons that are part of a software program's digital environment
Layers - stacks of elements that make up an image. Four kinds include: image, adjustment, fill, and shape
Marquee - the most basic of selection tools that is used to draw selections based on geometric shapes
Magnetic lasso - a tool that creates selections, automatically clinging to edges of contrast objects
Hue - one of the main properties of a color. Some aspects of color appearance are saturation, lightness, and brightness
Saturation - the intensity of a color, expressed as the degree to which it differs from white
Opacity - the condition of lacking transparency
Clipping mask - a group of layers to which a mask is applied
