| Photoshop | - image and photo editing program that is used by photographers, graphic designers, video game artists, advertising and meme designers |
| Filter | - tool that cleans up or retouches images, applies art effects, and transforms or distorts lighting effects |
| Toolbar | - a set of icons or buttons that are part of a software program's digital environment |
| Layers | - stacks of elements that make up an image. Four kinds include: image, adjustment, fill, and shape |
| Marquee | - the most basic of selection tools that is used to draw selections based on geometric shapes |
| Magnetic lasso | - a tool that creates selections, automatically clinging to edges of contrast objects |
| Hue | - one of the main properties of a color. Some aspects of color appearance are saturation, lightness, and brightness |
| Saturation | - the intensity of a color, expressed as the degree to which it differs from white |
| Opacity | - the condition of lacking transparency |
| Clipping mask | - a group of layers to which a mask is applied |
