Unicellular A living thing made of just one single cell
Multicellular Made of many cells
Autotroph An organism that can produce its own food using light, water, carbon dioxide, or other chemicals
Prokaryote A simple, single-celled organism (like bacteria and archaea) whose cells lack a membrane-bound nucleus and other internal organelle
Heterotroph An organism that can't make its own food and must eat other organisms
