| Commutaive | in order in which numbers are added or multiplied does not change the answer. |
| assoctative | the way in which numbers are grouped when added or multiplied does not change the answer |
| identity propety multiplcation | the product of sny factor and 1 is the same as the factor |
| identity propety addition | the sum of an addened and 0 is the same as the adddend |
| Addictive | adding a number and its oppiste will produce a sum of 0 |
| Multiplictive | multiplying any number by its recripical equals 1 |
| Factor | a number that when multiplied by another produces a given number |
| Associative Property | (x + 7) + 9 = x + (7 + 9) |
| Associative Property | 4(3 x 9) = (4 x 3)9 |
| Commutative Property | (x + 7) + 9 = 9 + (7 + x) |
| Commutative Property | 5 x 6 = 6 x 5 |
| Identity Property of Addition | x + 0 = x |
| Identity Property of Multiplication | 6(1) = 6 |
| Multiplicative Inverse Property | 4 x ¼ = 1 |
