Adaption. Structures and behaviors that allow animals to perform their functions.
Describe the three things that all animals have in common. multicellularity, heterotrophic nutrition, and movement/sensory response.
describe the 4 functions of animals. Nutrition (getting food/energy), Respiration/Gas Exchange, Excretion (removing waste), and Reproduction
Describe how animals are classified and the three ways these relationships are determined. looking at similarities in DNA, comparing body plans (what they look like/are built like), and studying their development (how they grow), with DNA being the best clue for deep connections.
