Prairie A region of flat or rolling land covered with grasses.
Provinces A political division of land in Canada.
Alluvial soil A fertile topsoil left by a river, especially after a flood.
Agribusiness A large company that runs huge farms.
Hydroelectricity An electric power produced by moving water.
Fossil fuel A fuel formed over millions of years from animal and plant remains.
