| rudimentary | very simple; not completely developed |
| repulse | causing someone to feel extreme disgust or distaste |
| vigorously | doing something in a way that involves much physical strength, effort, or energy |
| exasperate | to make angry or frustrated |
| epiphany | a sudden, clear understanding or idea |
| reverberate | to echo loudly |
| euphoric | extremely happy |
| agonize | to undergo great mental anguish by worrying about something |
| methodical | to do things very carefully and step by step |
| congenial | friendly and easy to get along with |
| oppress | to take away someone's freedom to make personal choices |
| subservient | to do obey unquestioningly |
| discredit | to hurt someone's reputation or respect by pointing out mistakes |
| hostile | angry; acting in a mean or dangerous way |
| deliberate | done on purpose, often slowly and with care |
| hypocrisy | saying one thing but doing the opposite; pretending to have values or beliefs but not actually following them |
| chastise | to scold for misbehavior |
| advocate | to believe in and publicly support something |
| galvanize | to motivate and inspire others to act |
