ecto-, exo-, extra- ectocranial: pertaining to outside the skull exogastritis: inflammation of the outer lining of the stomach extrapleural: pertaining to outside the lung
end-, endo- endarterectomy: the surgical removal of a dam- aged or diseased inner lining of an artery endocarditis: inflammation of the inner lining of the heart
