| crater | A bowl-like hole that forms when rock explodes from a volcano during an eruption. |
| earthquake | Vibrations within Earth caused by the sudden release of energy, usually as a result of the movement of rocks along a fault. |
| geyser | A hot spring in which water intermittently boils, sending a tall column of water and steam into the air. |
| hot spring | A spring of naturally hot water, typically heated by subterranean volcanic activity. |
| volcano | A landform, usually cone-shaped, produced by a collection of erupted material around a vent, or opening on the surface of Earth and through which gas and erupted material pass. |
| fossil | Preserved remains of an organism, usually from prehistoric times. |
