| moksha | the ultimate goal of Hinduism; freedom from the cycle of reincarnation |
| monotheism | the belief that there is only one God |
| nirvana | a state of enlightenment where one has found happiness and peace; the ultimate goal of Buddhism |
| polytheism | the belief in or worship of more than one god |
| reincarnation | the rebirth of a soul in a new body |
