What are some ways of coping with communication anxiety? know: your reaction to stress, your strengths, your weaknesses, your speech, speech principles, and that nervousness always looks worse from the inside. Believe in your topic, visualize success, project confidence, practice, test your message, be positive
Is speaker nervousness bad? No. It: is natural, shows that you care about performing well, and is a form of energy that can be channeled into making a better speech
What are the five kinds of listening distractions? Physical, physiological, psychological, semantic, factual
What is the difference between listening and hearing? Listening is learned, intermittent, active, and implies using the message that has been recieved
