TermDefinition
Musculoskeletal System is the system that supports the body, allows movement, and protects organs
Nervous System is the control & communication system, sends, receives, and processes messages so your body can respond to what's happening inside & around you
Sensory System it collects details about the surroundings & sends it to the brain & spinal cord, allows us to see, hear, smell, taste, touch ( and protection barrier of skin), your body receives information regarding pain, pressure, & temperature
Endocrine System it controls and balances functions of the body using hormones, releasing them into the bloodstream
Lymphatic System is the system that helps fight infections, removes waste, and maintain fluid balance in the body, collects fluid from the body tissues, collected fluid flows into lymphatic vessels
