Subcutaneous Injection (Subcut) Deposits the medication into the subcutaneous layer below the skin and above the muscle layer. NEEDLE SIZE: 3/8 and 7/8 inch. 24 and 29 G, 45-90 degrees angle DO NOT ASPIRATE BEFORE INJECTING
Intramuscular Injection (IM) Injection directly into the largest portion of a muscle -Administer at 90 DEGREE angle into the target muscle NEEDLE SIZE: 1 to 1 1/2 inches. gauge 20 and 23 G, 90 DEGREE ANGLE. - Air-lock and Z-track
