open circulatory system a system where the blood or circulatory fluid is not contained in vessels and can flow into the body
spermatophores a packet of sperm in cephalopods
veliger a planktonic larva in gastropods and bivalves
foot the musculat locomotory structure of molluscs
valves any of the two shells of bivalves and lamp shells
byssal threads strong fiber secreted by mussels for attachment
pen the reduced, thin shell of squids
ganglia clusters of nerve cells in gastropods and bivalves
