B list test

QuestionAnswer
What is a set prop ? Objects that add to the look of the setting that the actors interact with (ie Furniture)
What are the different types of scenic flats? Hollywood (3D set pieces), Broadway (completely flat), Softcover flats (Opera flats)
What is the rail (part of a scenic flat)? The top edge of the frame of a flat
What is a stile (part of a scenic flat)? The vertical edge of the frame of a flat
What is Ohm's Law? R = E / I Resistance (ohms) = Electro-motive Force (Volts) / I = Intensity of Current (amps)
What is a Series circuit? A circuit where current runs in a series and voltage is divided evenly between the load. If one lamp in a Series circuit is out, the circuit will be broken and all the lamps will not work. Example = old christmas lights or strip lights
What is a parallel circuit? A circuit where each load is connected to the same source independently. If one lamp in a parallel circuit blows, the other lamps are not affected. Example = house lights
