TermDefinition
bar notation In repeating decimals,the line or bar placed over the digits that repeat .For example 2.63 indicates that digits repeat.
multiplicative inverses Two numbers with a product of 1. For example,the multiplicative in of 2/3 is 3/2.
rational number The set of numbers that can be written in the form a/b, where a and b are integers and b # 0.
repeating decimal A decimal in which 1 or more digits repeat.
terminating decimal A decimal with a repeating digit of 0.
