| multiplicative inverse | Two numbers with a product of 1. for example, the multiplication inverse of 2/3 is 3/2 |
| rational number | The set of numbers that can be written in the form a/b, where a and b are integers and b = 0 |
| repeating decimal | A decimal in which 1 or more digits repeats |
| terminating decimal | A decimal with a repeating digit of 0 |
