bar notation In repeating decimals, the line or bar is placed over the digits that repeat. For example , 2.63 indicates the digits 63 repeat.
multiplicative inverse Two numbers with a product of 1. for example, the multiplication inverse of 2/3 is 3/2
rational number The set of numbers that can be written in the form a/b, where a and b are integers and b = 0
repeating decimal A decimal in which 1 or more digits repeats
terminating decimal A decimal with a repeating digit of 0
