Hyperbole An exaggeration to drive in a point. Adverb I'm so hungry I'm gonna die!
Imagery Language that uses the senses to help the reader see the image. Adjective You could hear the crunch and the swoosh of food and drinks in the lunchroom.
Metaphor Compares two things that are not alike without using like or as. Adjective That was music to my ears.
