The point of greatest interest or suspense. The turning point of the story. Usually the main character comes face-to-face with conflict. Usually the main character changes in some way. Climax
This usually occurs at the beginning of the story. Characters are introduced. We also learn about the setting. Most importantly, we are introduced to the main problem of the story. Exposition
The correct order of the plot triangle is... Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, Resolution
