Collection it is where rain and snow collect at the bottom of the river,lake,ocean and more.
Transpiration transpiration is when plants release water vapor into the air
Runoff precipitation that flows over the land's surface, rather than soaking into the ground
Climate is based on temperature over time.
Koppen System A system based on vegetation that divides the world into 5 groups these are tropical, dry, temperate, continental, and polar
tropical is described as very hot, moist, and wet. This climate is constantly warm. One place this climate is in is hawaii.
Dry / Arid Described as very warm and dry. Has extreme temperature swings and drops could be very hot or very cold.
Temperate Has normal temperature very reliable and does not swing much. This climate is usually found in 40°-60° latitude.
Continental Has large temperature swings. Mostly found in asia and europe.
Polar Described as extremely cold. One example is the north pole.
influences temperature Latitude, altitude, distance from oceans and lakes, and ocean currents.
precipitation Prevailing winds, the presence of mountains, and seasons.
ice age A long period of time where it is extremely cold.
interglacial period The period between a normal ice age and a larger ice age.
