Variable A variable is a quantity that may be changed according to the mathematical problem. The generic letters which are used in many algebraic expressions and equations are x, y, z. In other words, a variable is a symbol for a number where the value is not know
Constant n Algebra, a constant is a number, or sometimes it is denoted by a letter such as a, b or c for a fixed number. For example x+2=10, here 2 and 10 are constants.
Coefficient In mathematics, a coefficient is a numerical factor that accompanies a variable or term in an algebraic expression. Coefficients in algebraic expressions indicate the quantity by which the variable is multiplied or the term's scale.
Like Terms he definition of like terms in math is terms that have the same variable raised to the same power. Examples of like terms in math are x, 4x, -2x, and 7x. These are like terms because they all contain the same variable, x. The terms 8y2, y2, and -2y2 are l

product In maths, product means the result you get after multiplying numbers together. The numbers that are being multiplied together are known as factors. The final result when we multiply two or more factors together is called the product, whether they're whole
difference Difference is the result of subtracting one number from another.
quoentit The number we obtain when we divide one number by another is the quotient. For example, in 8 ÷ 4 = 2; here, the result of the division is 2, so it is the quotient.
