| Evidence | Information about the natural world that is used to support or go against a claim |
| Reasoning | The process of making clear how evidences goes against your claim |
| Scientific Argument | A claim supported by evidence |
| Prokaryotic | Smallest, simplest cells that make up single cell organism and lack a nucleus |
| Eukaryotic | Cells contaning specialized internal organelles |
| Nucleus | The control center of the cell, holds the DNA |
| Mitochndria | Bean shaped organelle that releases energy from glucose molecules for the cell to use |
| Cell Membrane | Barrier around the cell that controls what goes in and out |
| Vacuole | Large storage organelle found in plants, stores water, food, and sometimes waste |
| Chlroplast | Organelles in plant cells that store chlorophyll were light energy is turned into glucose during photosynthesis |
| Organelle | Membrane bound structure s within the cell that have specific jobs |
| Cell divison | When a parent cells duplicates it contents and then divideds into 2 new cells |
| DNA Deoxribonucelic Acid | Genetic information that is located in the nucelues, and is passed from parent to offspring |
| Ribosomes | Organelle that make proteins for the cell |
| Cytoplasm | Gel like substance that fills the cell |
