Algebra terms
| Term | Definition |

| Variable | A Letter to represent a unknown value |
| Constant | A number withoutt a variable. |
| Coefficient | The number part of a term with variables. |
| Term | Either a single number or variable, or numbers and variables multiplied together. |
| Like terms | Two or more terms with the same variable or exponent. |
| Algebraic expressions | Have at least one variable and one operation. |
| Sum | The answer to a ADDITION problem |
| Diffrence | The answer to a SUBTRACTION problem |
| Product | The answer to a MULTIPLICATION problem |
| Quotient | The answer to a DIVISION problem |
| fewer than /less than | Subtract+reverse |
| how much more/less | Subtract |
| % of fraction | Multiply |
| Each | Divide |
| then /from | Reverse the order. |
| Associative property | The way in which numbers are grouped when added or mulyiplied does not change the answer. |
| Communicative property | The order in which numbers are added or multiplred does not change the answer. |
| Identify property of Addition | The sum of an addend and 0 is the same as the addend. |
| Identify property of Multiplication | The product of any factor and 1 is the same as the factor. |
| Additive inverse Property | Adding a number and its opposite will produce a sum or 0. |
| Multiplicative inverse property | Multiplying any number and it inverse equals one. |
| Associative property | (x+7)+9=x+(7+9) |
| Associative property | 4(3 x 9)=(4 x 3)9 |
| Communicative property | (x+7)+9=(+(7+x) |
| Communicative property | 5 x 6 =6 x 5 |
| Identity property of Addition | x + 0 = x |
