| Associative Property | (x+7) + 9 = x + (7+9) |
| Associative Property | 4(3 x 9)= (4 x 3)9 |
| Commutative Property | (x + 7) + 9 = 9 + (7 + x) |
| Commutative Property | 5 x 6 = 6 x 5 |
| Identity Property of Addition | x + 0 = x |
| Identity Property of Multiplication | 6(1) = 6 |
| Multiplicative Inverse Property | 4 x 1/4 = 1 |
| Additive Inverse Property | -5 + 5 = 0 |
| Distributive Property | 4(x+3) = 4x + 12 |
| Distributive Property | 16 + 40 = 8(2+5) |
