| Ethos | Emphasizes the speaker's credibility and authority. Examples: celebrity endorsements, titles, professions. |
| Logos | Appeals to the audience logic and reason. Examples: data, historical events, fact and test results. |
| Pathos | Appeals to the audience's emotions. Examples: Personal story's or sad videos. |
| Claim | The author's main point, a statement he or she believes to be true, must be arguable and provable. |
| Credibility | The author is able to be believed and trusted. |
| reliable sources | Information or data that is trustworthy, accurate and consistent and can be verified through reputable sources. |
