Argument and Claim

TermDefinition
Ethos Emphasizes the speaker's credibility and authority.
Pathos Appeals to the audiences emotions.
Logos Appeals to the audience's logic or reason
Claim The author's main point, a statement he or she believes to be true, must be arguable or provable
Credibility The author is ale to be believed and trusted.
Reliable Evidence information or data that is trustworthy, accurate, and consistent, and can be verified through reputable sources.
